PQM© (Paper Quality Management) is a new service for mill technical
managers and their counterparts at customer
sites. It consolidates roll performance (paper
break/consumption)
data from multiple print locations and the
supplier mills. Information that formerly
was available only from single print
locations is now consolidated and available
in a single database. Reports are presented in
a visual format that allows instant
identification of paper quality improvements
and declines.
How does it work?
The PQM© Service is a series of
sophisticated reports or ‘Score Cards’
accessible via a web-based system based on
paper performance reporting tools developed
by our industry over the years. To ‘feed’
PQM©, EDIWISE added a customer-controlled
feature in our paper management systems that
allow pressrooms and printers to select and
control the specific performance information
they want to send. The Service will work
with your proprietary systems and other
third party systems as well.
