Paper suppliers identify and label newsprint rolls with a barcode number. EDIWISE products use this barcode identifier to track the life a roll from manufacture to consumption. Scanners allow reading these barcodes saving you from typing numbers in and minimizing human error.

AbiPDT Software
AbiPDT is a software application for portable scanners that provides an interface to collect consumption, movements and receipts of rolls. This information can be downloaded into AbitRol^®  AbiNet™ASP or  EdiStok™ASP .

This wedge scanner works as an input device reading barcodes from daily reel reports or receipt sheets.

When used with our AbiPDT and AbiWhse software, these scanners can be used anywhere in your warehouse or print site to scan receipts, movements or consumption. The data is then downloaded from a cradle unto our AbitRol^® and AbiNet™ASP applications.

AbiPDT
There are two AbiPDT programs that can be loaded to a portable scanner, depending on the type of data that will be collected. Note that all our applications come with an interface or module to collect the data from the scanners.

AbiPDT Pressroom
This program, when loaded to a portable scanner,  allows the user to collect consumption data right from the pressroom. Information such as name of the run, date, press, roll numbers and butt rolls can be scanned directly from the press eliminated the use of daily reel sheets.

AbiPDT Warehouse
This program, when loaded to a portable scanner, allows the user to collect warehouse information such as receipts, movements and damages right into the scanners eliminating paper work. This data can be downloaded into AbitRol^® , AbiNet™ASP or EdiStok™ASP to corroborate receipt information.
